I am ready for spring and summer! Of course I've been ready since November. Last month we had record high temperatures and now we are below zero temperatures.
Maybe I should start planning my gardening projects for this summer. I have been browsing the web for new roses for 2008. A rose garden is one project I wish to tackle this spring. I just can't make up my mind there are so many to choose from.
A beautiful climbing rose for the corner of the house facing east would be nice. I love english roses so maybe I might try Abraham Darby, or Crown Princess Margareta as pictured below.
Pinks, peaches, yellows I can't decide. I guess I'll keep browsing there's plenty of time with the way the weather is here in Indiana. Pictures courtesy of David Austin Roses, my #1 recommendation for English roses.

I have had a lot of friends and family ask me about the plants, flowers, shrubs and yes trees, that I have planted and where I purchased them. I do a lot of online nursery shopping along with local nurseries. So I have decided to show some pictures and give my opinions on the MANY different places that I purchase from. Last spring and fall I did a lot of planting, so this spring and summer will be very interesting. I will take pictures to share and also along with where I purchased the plant, where I planted it, and so forth. I have several online nurseries in my mind right now that I am very impressed with , but for now I will wait for this spring so as I may show the proof as well.
