Newspaper weeds away
Plant your flowers, vegetables etc, work the nutrients in your soil. Layer wet newspapers around the plants overlapping as you go. Cover with mulch and forget about the weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.
Squirrel Away!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.

Beautiful bouquets Karen. I bet they smell heavenly too. :)
I like your bouquets. Are those hydrangea? I love to dry them to use all winter long.
Very dramatic sky, lots of light and contrast. I've been trying to get a good sky shot and not having much luck. We had a spectacular sunset as I drove home--without my camera of course;)
