Newspaper weeds away
Plant your flowers, vegetables etc, work the nutrients in your soil. Layer wet newspapers around the plants overlapping as you go. Cover with mulch and forget about the weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.
Squirrel Away!
To keep squirrels from eating your plants sprinkle your plants with cayenne pepper. The cayenne pepper doesn't hurt the plant and the squirrels won't come near it.

Your flowers are so pretty. I have the false sunflowers growing wild abound the farm. I love them.

WOW, you always capture the best pictures of flowers. Your blog is so bright and cheerful to visit. I stopped by to see if you had a wordless Wednesday post. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I love all the flowers you have posted! Very nice blog.
Beautiful flowers. I will have to tell Teri C of Teri's painted dasies to come here and have a look. She would have lots of inspiration.
