Back to the grind

This is the scene outside my window at work. Of course this picture was taken a week ago and now the tulip blooms are gone.

I've been on a vacation of sorts. Didn't even turn on my computer last week!

I've been planting, planting and more planting, and a little shopping here and there. (probably too much $$ spent) ah well so it goes.

My marigolds, cosmos and nasturtium's that I direct sowed outdoors are sprouting. The plants I started indoors, well let's just say it was a 50/50 survival rate on those, the sweetpeas did the best.

I took several cuttings from my lavender plant last week, so I'm hoping they will root. I dipped the cutting in root hormone and put them in a pot of clean play sand that is moist but not wet. Hopefully I will get some new plants out of some of them.

I took several pictures last week, but have not loaded them onto the computer. I'm still in lazy mode right now and not feeling very creative today.

Hope all is well in your garden!!!!

Hi---Blotanical has been down for a bit and I had a hard time finding you and when I had fav'd you. I'm glad you visited my blog so I could put you on my blogroll. I use it more than the blotanical site cause I can't always get on there.

Anyway--your pics look great and glad you had a wonderful vacation. I'm looking forward to my current plant stocking job to be over so I can be home for a bit. I want to be in my garden harvesting both flowers and veges.

Thanks for stopping by and please come back often.

Thanks for adding me. I sometimes have trouble getting on blotanical as well, it is hard to keep up with all the great blogs out there :). I will be visiting yours often.

That is a pretty awesome picture outside your window! I love the color combination. Very nice. Nice blog and I am happy to meet you. What part of Indiana are you in? I come to Evansville quite often and enjoy the state very much.

I do love bringing them in but I do hate it when they fade away, I'm not very good at keeping them perky in the house, LOL

The business next door to my office is a landscaping company, lol go figure! ahh the plant envy I get from all their displays on their property!

It is so easy to get carried away buying plants. Everyone seems to say 'take me!' Let us know how your lavender does. Glad you enjoyed your planting time.

When it's between being in the garden, or sitting at the computer, the garden always wins! Maybe after everything gets planted there will be more time. Does everything ever get all planted?
