What's Growing?

When one of my plants dies, I die a little inside, too. ~Linda Solegato

Here's what's been growing in my garden the last couple of weeks , most of which I planted last fall.
I especially am excited about my clematis (I think it is "Dawn"), this is the third year and it has exceeded it's growth from last year already. It has four times more buds and it's still April!

Gorgeous flowers! I too have a clematis in my front yard. We inherited the flower bed when we bought the house and they had it trellised up in a very nice way. Now, I'm clueless. Especially regarding flowers. I didn't know what it was and cut back all of the dry climbing viney bits last fall. Probably a mistake now that I've read up. The plant is coming back, but I probably cut off all of the gorgeous flowering parts! We'll see next year.
